Founded in 2024 by Santosh Sapkota — a certified blind massage therapist with sixteen years of experience and training under internationally recognised therapists — Healing Hands Nepal occupies a dedicated space in Ale Complex, opposite Citizens Bank, near Boudhanath Stupa.
The center was built with two missions in mind. First, to bring formally trained, anatomy-based massage therapy to Kathmandu at a standard that holds up internationally. Second, to train the next generation of therapists — sighted and blind alike — so that Nepal produces globally competitive practitioners, not just people who have completed a basic certification.
What we offer
Our services span three areas. Santosh himself provides sports, deep tissue and remedial massage — both at the center and as mobile visits to homes and hotels across Kathmandu Valley. Our trained team therapists offer a full menu of styles including Ayurvedic, Thai, hot stone, cupping, Moroccan and Swedish relaxation. And the center includes wellness facilities: private sauna and herbal steam bath, available on their own or paired with a massage for deeper results.
What makes us different
Most massage services in Kathmandu are relaxation-oriented. Healing Hands is built on a clinical foundation: Santosh can read MRI reports and treat specific conditions such as sciatica and disc herniation. That precision carries through to everything we do — even a relaxation session here hits deeper and lasts longer because the therapist understands the anatomy underneath.
We use high-quality essential oils, flaxseed oil and almond oil for every treatment. For mobile visits, Santosh brings an Earthlite portable massage table — one of the most recognised professional brands globally.
